Master of Your Fate GMV

Back in the early days of YouTube, one of the first fan made music videos I ever came across was an old GMV for Kingdom Hearts using a certain musical number from Teen Titans. It's been nearly two decades, and I've had the urge to do my own take it, what with all the new Kingdom Hearts games that have been released in the time since. I just hope I did the original video as well both Kingdom Hearts & Teen Titans the proper justice they deserve. But compared to even my first AMVs, this one took an absurd amount of time to make. And not for a lack of footage, audio, or anything like that. Both the recording and video editing software I've been using to make my music videos has been giving me a bizarre amount of trouble over the past several months, and I've been a bunch of other general technological issues that have been driving me up the wall. What should have been a simple, fun little tribute to one of my first AMVs/GMVs turned into such a slog that I honestly feel that I need to take a break from making music videos for the foreseeable future. I hope it won't be forever, because I have so many other ideas for other videos to craft. But I don't want to be completely soured on the whole process, so I think I need to step away from making music videos for a little while. I'm sorry.

Gerudo Valley Cover AMV (Original by Koji Kondo, Cover by LucasGitanoFamily)

Disclaimer: I don't own Gerudo Valley or any of the footage used here in this AMV. They all belong to their respective owners. Sixth AMV down the hatch! Gerudo Valley has been a song very near and dear to my heart since I first heard it as a child, and when my original idea for my next AMV didn't pan out (haven't found a cover for a particular song that I find meets my standards), I had the urge to try this one instead. And as usual I keep experimenting with these videos, this time with using TECHNICALLY fewer pieces of footage but editing them in a few where it feels like more. All in all, I just really hope I did this amazing song and cover the justice they so richly deserve! Enjoy! Disclaimer: I don't own Another Side, this cover, or the source material of ANY of the footage used here. They all belong to their respective owners. Here comes my fifth AMV! This time around, I was going for more of a sense of duality while also trying to give the viewers chills. Feel free to let me know if I succeeded!

Dreams, Dreams Cover AMV (Original by Tomoko Sasaki, Cover by Emi Jones ...

Disclaimer: I don't own Dreams Dreams, this cover, or the source material of ANY of the footage used here. They all belong to their respective owners. AMV #4, here we go! And just in time for Valentine's Day, too! This song is originally from NiGHTS into Dreams, my favorite game of all time. There really isn't anything quite like, and if dreamy covers like this are any indication, I'm far from the only one it has touched in such a meaningful way. Thus, I decided to challenge myself by crafting an AMV that has a vastly different tone and tempo than any of my previous ones. I don't know if I managed to do the song, this cover, or the numerous sources I used to help craft it the proper justice they all deserve, but I don't regret trying. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy what's been a labor of love for the past few months. Until next time! Original song can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Biw2V... A Month of Outlaw Star: Fan Work Spotlight #3!

As I've mentioned multiple times, today is a very special day. 14 years (and about 4 hours) ago, when I was 7 years old, I myself and who knows how many other people first saw this wonderful show premiere on American television on what is without a doubt the most influential television programming block to date: Toonami. And having done a research assignment on Toonami and the concept of programming blocks, I feel more than qualified to make that claim. So I decided to celebrate this special occasion with a specific type of fan work that I myself have absolutely no experience with, but immense respect for: the AMV!
While admittedly not the most well made AMV out there, it has several points in its favor. The clips are in decent quality, there is use of more than the utmost basic editing techniques, it features an actual song that is used in the series and even a scene from the original pilot , and above it, upon watching this video, I felt the same sort of excitement as when I first Outlaw World, the very first episode, all those years ago.
