Tune for Tuesday for Week of 10/1/2024: "Oogie Boogie's Song" from The Nightmare Before Christmas
This week's Tune for Tuesday, a live performance from the Hollywood Bowl of "Oogie Boogie's Song" from The Nightmare Before Christmas, is honor of the late Ken Page, who just recently passed away. Rest in peace, Oogie Boogie. From video games to the original film itself, you've always been a treat to watch in action.

Master of Your Fate GMV
Back in the early days of YouTube, one of the first fan made music videos I ever came across was an old GMV for Kingdom Hearts using a certain musical number from Teen Titans. It's been nearly two decades, and I've had the urge to do my own take it, what with all the new Kingdom Hearts games that have been released in the time since. I just hope I did the original video as well both Kingdom Hearts & Teen Titans the proper justice they deserve. But compared to even my first AMVs, this one took an absurd amount of time to make. And not for a lack of footage, audio, or anything like that. Both the recording and video editing software I've been using to make my music videos has been giving me a bizarre amount of trouble over the past several months, and I've been a bunch of other general technological issues that have been driving me up the wall. What should have been a simple, fun little tribute to one of my first AMVs/GMVs turned into such a slog that I honestly feel that I need to take a break from making music videos for the foreseeable future. I hope it won't be forever, because I have so many other ideas for other videos to craft. But I don't want to be completely soured on the whole process, so I think I need to step away from making music videos for a little while. I'm sorry.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 9/12/2023: "At Dusk, I Will Think of You…" by Yoko Shimomura
This week's Tune for Tuesday, "At Dusk, I Will Think of You..." by Yoko Shimomura, is a song from a game near and dear to my heart, and like many songs originating from Kingdom Hearts, I have quite the habit of thinking about around this time of year. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy it!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 8/30/2022: "Destiny Islands" from Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Destiny Islands" from Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, is one I've had on my mind a LOT lately. It's also probably not the version of this song most people think of when it comes to this franchise, but it's probably the one most dear to me. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 10/5/2021: "Night of Fate" from Kingdom Hearts
This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Night of Fate" by Yoko Shimomura featuring Øystein Wangen, is in honor of the confirmation of the final character being added to one of the greatest video game collaborations of all time, all while also being fitting for a certain holiday at the end of the month. Thank you, Sakurai!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 3/17/2020: "Face My Fears" as performed by AmaLee
This week’s delayed Tune for Tuesday, "Face My Fears" as performed by AmaLee, is not only a fantastic cover of an amazing song from one super enjoyable game, but a piece of music I just think more people need to hear, now more than ever. Don’t deny the darkness around you, but don’t miss the various sources of light all around us and in the distance as well. And above all, don’t forget that every step forward will always be a step closer to home.

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Master of Your Fate - Xemnas!" is one I've always found incredibly entertaining, blending together two of my favorite things (Kingdom Hearts and Teen Titans) into a single amazing AMV. I'd definitely love to see someone do an HD version.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 1/3/2017: "Traverse Town" from Kingdom Hearts by Smooth McGroove
This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Traverse Town" from Kingdom Hearts as performed by Smooth McGroove, represents several things to me: fond memories of a beloved video game, the amazing passion and creativity of talented fans, the glorious potential of fan works, and one of my favorite aspects of nighttime. Nothing quite like winding down at the end of the day, y'know?

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 6/16/2015: "Rage Awakened" from Kingdom Hearts
This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “Rage Awakened” from Kingdom Hearts, is in honor of a certain game whose new trailer I just saw. Something inside me is definitely stirring, but I’m proud to say that for once, it’s not rage, disappointment, or even indifference (which considering that that’s the exact reason I generally don’t go out of my way to seek out video games news and announcements anymore, is saying something). After this particular video game related announcement/trailer, I’m feeling anticipation grow within me. This is going to be amazing! You better get ready!
