Tune for Tuesday for Week of 12/29/2015: "New Lang Syne" by Jim's Big Ego

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "New Lang Syne" by Jim's Big Ego, is one that seems insanely appropriate, not just given what's happening in a few days, but just how crazy this year has been for me, in ways both good and bad. But even if it isn't as applicable for you as it is for me, I hope you all enjoy it and have a happy new year!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 12/22/2015

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Christmas Time For the Jews", may or may not be an accurate description of what I'm doing this Friday.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 12/15/2015: "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" by the Eurythmics

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" by the Eurythmics and I have a long, awesome history. I first fell in love with it when I was four years old, when I heard it as part of a commercial on television for a collection of hit songs from the 1980s. Then, at the Bat Mitzvah for one of my cousins, this was one of the songs that played during the party. Throughout the time I was in school, when I was riding in my dad's car, I'd go nuts whenever I heard this song come, be it from whatever radio station we were listening to or when it popped up on my dad's iPod playlist, something I still do to this day. And this past weekend, at the wedding of a different cousin, towards the end of night, this amazing song came up yet again while I was tearing up the dance floor! So all I have left to say is sweet dreams, everyone!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 12/8/2015: “Build that Wall” from Bastion

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Build that Wall" from Bastion, is one I was originally considering using several weeks ago, but for various reasons, I'm really grateful I waited until now. Also, I'm sorry for missing last week's Tune for Tuesday, and I hope this beautiful piece makes up for it!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 11/24/2015: "Linus and Lucy" by Vince Guaraldi Trio

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Linus and Lucy" by Vince Guaraldi Trio, was selected in celebration of The Peanuts Movie, which I saw this past Friday. I consider myself to be a big of Peanuts, having spent a large part of my adolescence ending of really bad days with strips from "You're Not For Real, Snoopy!", "Here's To You, Charlie Brown", "Here Comes Charlie Brown!", "We're On Your Side, Charlie  Brown", and The Peanuts Treasury. So when I saw from various promos and commercials, I was admittedly nervous when I saw the different art style than what I was accustomed to. But this must be an extraordinarily good month for me and films, because like with Spectre two weeks prior (which was the first James Bond movie I've seen in at least a decade and a half, and made me really want to go watch all the other classic Bond films), because both films more than lived up to their hype in my eyes. The screening I went to started at 12:45 in the afternoon, and let me tell you, there's nothing quite like having an amazingly heartwarming movie all to yourself. I didn't have to hold back any comments or laughter, and there was a lot of positive bouts of both. I'm not going to spoil any of it out of respect for both the film and any fans who haven't seen it yet, but I will say this much: The Peanuts Movie captured the essence of what I adore about the multitude of comic strips I've read and cartoons I've seen over the years, all while doing new things to catch me off guard. In addition, it did what movies in its position are supposed to do: entertain audiences both young and old, be they new to or familiar with the source material. How  it does this, I won't  say, for not only would it be rude to those who haven't had the opportunity to see this wonderful film, I'm not sure I could successfully put into words what makes it succeed. But in the meantime, please enjoy this classic piece that is often considered to be the effective theme song for the franchise as a whole...at least, based on my own observations over the years...oh, good grief! Coming up with a proper closing statement is hard!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 10/20/2015: "It's Terror Time Again" by Skycycle

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "It's Terror Time Again" by Skycycle, is from Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, a movie I haven't seen in quite some time. But after listening to this, I can't help but feel a craving for some more of this classic franchise straight out of my past. Hmm...perhaps it's time I finally try out this Mystery Incorporated incarnation I'm constantly hearing praise for...

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 10/13/2015: "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour, is one I was first introduced to as a classmate's pick for a high school Sociology assignment that ended up inspiring the Tune for Tuesdays I post on a regular basis, and one that I feel is just as fitting a description of our world now as it was when it first debuted.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 10/6/2015: "Highway Star" by Deep Purple

This week's Tune for Tuesday (or Wednesday, depending on where you are at the time that I'm posting this), "Highway Star" by Deep Purple, is a tribute not only to an amazing two week road trip I'll be concluding tomorrow, but to one of my favorite levels in a certain video game. Which game, you may ask? Here's a three word hint: Agents are...GO!!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 9/29/2015: "Rocket 88" by Jackie Brenston

This week's Tune for Tuesday (or Wednesday, depending on where you are at the time of this post) is not just any song. "Rocket 88", credited to both Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats as well as Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythm, is considered to be the very first rock and roll song ever recorded. Please enjoy this spectacular page right out of the history books!

A break from routine, at least for me

I generally don't comment on politics online, but having recently learned of a particular comment regarding autism and vaccinations made at a certain debate (one I chose not to watch out of fear that it would prove to be incredibly frustrating to bear witness) this week by a certain individual whom I refuse to name (though I will say that I have heard said...person described as wearing a taxidermy muskrat from 1986), I feel I have something to say on the matter. Having been diagnosed with a form of autism at a very young age, as well as having had to spend the first 12 years of my life watching my grandfather suffer from post-polio, I believe I am well within my bounds to say that this confirms, beyond a shadow of a doubt, my theory that a specific abhorrent abomination of a monstrosity pathetically attempting to masquerade as a human being was originally in fact the horrible by-product of an experiment on a turd manufacturing plant. And I must say, it has been quite some time since I felt enraged to the point where I would not be surprised to learn that my own blood was boiling. Yet at the same time, I am also somehow calm. I wonder...is this what they call tranquil fury?

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 9/1/2015: "Stronger Than You" from Steven Universe

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Stronger Than You" from Steven Universe, is a great song that I was seriously debating holding off on until the week of October 11 due to some of the themes, but in the end, it was just so awesome that I couldn't resist sharing it over a month ahead of schedule. Enjoy!

Tune for Tuesday for 8/25/2015: "RIGHT NOW" by PSY

This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “RIGHT NOW” by PSY, is a really good song to dance to. In fact, I now have a very strong urge to go outside and just start dancing. Then again, I regularly have the urge to just start singing and dancing where ever I am in the moment. *shrugs*

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 8/18/2015: "K.K. Bossa" from Animal Crossing (English Cover)

This week's Tune for Tuesday is an English cover of a song called "K.K. Bossa" from the Animal Crossing series and is performed by a talented singer who goes by the moniker of adrisaurus. I picked this particular song for several reasons, namely that it's beautiful, I'm staying at one of my favorite vacation spots (Kiawah Island), and I showed one of my closest friends the Animal Crossing movie two nights ago. Talk about one adorable, heartwarming film!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 8/11/2015: "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin, is in honor of a great man who passed away this time last year. Rest in piece, Robin Williams. You brought many people together in many different ways, including members of my family and myself. For that, I don't think I will be ever able to express just how grateful I am. Thank you so much, Genie!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 7/28/2015: "BE FREE" by Ricken's

This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “BE FREE” by Ricken’s, is one I’ve been wanting to share for quite some time, but due to a certain rule I’ve decided to follow from back when I did Tune for Tuesday for my high school Sociology class (if a song has lyrics in a language I am not 100% confident with, I have to be able to find a translation of the lyrics), I kept having to put this off for longer than you might think. Seriously, if it hadn’t been for a good friend of mine, I’m not sure I’d have EVER been able to use this for Tune for Tuesday! This is one of many instances where I wish I had a better grasp of languages. *sigh* But I digress. Enjoy! YA-HA!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 7/14/2015: “BLOODY STREAM” by Coda (English Cover)

This week’s spectacular Tune for Tuesday is an awesome English cover performed Y. Chang for the second opening of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, “BLOODY STREAM” by Coda. I’ve started watching this series recently, and it has a unique vibe to it that’s difficult for me to put my finger on, and the lyrics in this cover just blow me away, especially the line that goes, “Always tempt your fate with luck and a smile.” It is for these reasons and more that I must warn all of you not to be surprised in the slightest if you find yourself suddenly singing along, dancing, or posing in an epic manner while listening to this. If any of this begins to occur, just remember that tonight, we stand together.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 7/7/2015: "Fourth of July Parade" from Teen Titans

This week's hard-to-find but totally awesome Tune for Tuesday, "Fourth of July Parade" from Teen Titans, is in honor of the holiday that took place this past Saturday by the same name, and comes straight from one of my favorite episodes in the series, "Revolution". There are also a TON of pop culture references in this clip (not to mention from the episode itself). How many can you all recognize?

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 6/30/2015: "Kamiki Festival" by Hiroshi Yamaguchi

This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “Kamiki Festival” by Hiroshi Yamaguchi, is from a great game I’ve been playing quite a bit of this summer, and happens to reflect my current feelings very well at the moment. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this awesome song straight from the equally marvelous Okami!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 6/23/2015: "Gravity Falls Rap 2.0" by Adam WarRock

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Gravity Falls Rap 2.0" by Adam WarRock, is in celebration of me finally catching up on this awesome show. Quentin Trembley for president!

On a somewhat unrelated note, I'm debating expanding Tune for Tuesday to even more sites than I already post on. In addition to sharing these on Google+, I'm considering also posting Tune for Tuesday on sites like weheartit and pinterest. Thing is, I already post Tune for Tuesday on 10 different sites every week, and given how late in the day I generally post, I'm not quite sure I'm up for adding any more to the roster at the moment. Then again, maybe I can handle a few more. I just figured I'd put it out as a possible heads up. You better get ready!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 6/16/2015: "Rage Awakened" from Kingdom Hearts

This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “Rage Awakened” from Kingdom Hearts, is in honor of a certain game whose new trailer I just saw. Something inside me is definitely stirring, but I’m proud to say that for once, it’s not rage, disappointment, or even indifference (which considering that that’s the exact reason I generally don’t go out of my way to seek out video games news and announcements anymore, is saying something). After this particular video game related announcement/trailer, I’m feeling anticipation grow within me. This is going to be amazing! You better get ready!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 6/9/2015: "Blue Suede Shoes" by Carl Perkins

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 5/19/2015: "Never Turn Back" from Crush 40

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Never Turn Back" by Crush 40, was one I hinted at last week, and considering I just graduated from college, I found it to be quite fitting. That, and I just love Crush 40.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 5/12/2015: "Sonic Boom" by Pastiche

Choosing today's Tune for Tuesday, "Sonic Boom" by Pastiche, was actually a tough call for me, for I was trying to decide whether to go with this version (aka the original in its entirety), or the Crush 40 version (which is a bit shorter but still amazing nonetheless). Eventually, I decided to that since I'm already planning on having another Crush 40 song as next week's pick (that's all I'm willing to reveal at the moment about what I have in mind for next time), and how I already love the original version as it is, I figured that for this week, I might as well go with the version of the song that I heard and fell in love with first. Enjoy!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 5/5/2015: "Our Whole Lives Tonight" by Eyeshine

Today’s Tune for Tuesday, “Our Whole Lives Tonight” by Eyeshine, is by no means a stranger to my little weekly tradition, though admittedly this is the first time I am posting it here on this particular website. However, given certain factors specifically regarding this week and the next, I feel I can safely say that this time around, the meaning behind this song is more applicable to me now than any other time I have selected it. Either way, I hope you all at least enjoy the song as much as I do, even if the lyrics don’t necessarily apply to you personally.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 4/28/2015: “Moonlit Melee” by Michiru Yamane

This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “Moonlit Melee” by Michiru Yamane, was selected for several reasons. First of all, I’ve been playing a great deal of Skullgirls recently. Though as with a majority of 2D fighting games, I’m not very good at playing it by any means, as with the Darkstalkers and BlazBlue franchises, I easily managed to find enough amazing aspects to enjoy it immensely, with or without any actual skill. Second, I find the name of the piece fitting given my constant evening struggles against the tyranny of school work as of late. Seriously, it’s been far too long since I actually got a good night’s sleep, or even any length of sleep that could be considered even remotely restful. But, most of all, I just love how the song sounds!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 4/21/2015: “Everything’s Alright” by Laura Shigihara

This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “Everything’s Alright” by Laura Shigihara comes to you from a source considered by many to be proof that video games are just as capable of being examples of high art as any other medium of story-telling. I myself firmly agree with that sentiment, and anyone who has experienced To the Moon in its entirety should know all too well the reasons why I say that.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 4/14/2015: "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay

For the second time in less than a month, I am afraid I must apologize for missing the previous week’s Tune for Tuesday. Therefore, in an attempt to make amends, I bring to you all an incredibly well put together, fan produced music video. I don’t know how many of you may have already seen it before, for I myself could never remember the name of the song nor the band that performed it up until I found this particular video, but even before then, any time I heard the song playing, the melody always managed to grab my attention. But now for some reason I can’t explain, I find myself being swept off my feet and blown away. So without further ado, please allow to share with all of you a LEGO stop motion video produced by Dylan Woodley to the song “Viva la Vida” as performed by Coldplay! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 3/31/2015: “Look-a-like” from Sonic the Hedgehog The Movie

For this week’s Tune for Tuesday, I’ve chosen a song from a film based on a video game series very dear to my heart. As an only child, my three first cousins, all of whom are 8 to 10 years older than me, were effectively older siblings for me growing up. One of them in particular played a lot of video games, but while he owned a few different consoles, only some of his games provided a way for two people to play together at the same time. Of the ones I played with him whenever I visited his house, the games we spent the most time playing together were on his SEGA Genesis, and tended be from a certain franchise. Said franchise is one I tend to find myself playing catch up with in recent years, but even so, I consider it to be one of my favorite video game series of all time. So for today, allow me to share with you the ending theme for a two part OVA based on this games. Without further ado, here is the song “Look-a-like” from Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 3/24/2015: "Sakae in Action" from Summer Wars

For today's Tune for Tuesday, I bring you my favorite song from my favorite movie, "Sakae in Action" from Summer Wars. Listening to this, I feel like there's so much I can accomplish!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 3/17/2015: "Bringin' da Noise" by 'N Sync

I apologize not posting a Tune for Tuesday last week, but to say I was exhausted would be a gross understatement. So after spending last week attempting to put the wind back in my sails, I have sufficient energy for choosing and sharing a song today. Therefore allow me to present something a piece from a group that I was a big fan of when I was growing up: “Bringin’ da Noise” by ‘N Sync! Between both seeing the Gravity Falls episode “Boys Crazy” and hearing Lance Bass play Not My Job on “Wait…Wait…DON’T TELL ME!” fairly recently, as well as what a lot of people will probably be doing today, I figured it was a rather fitting selection to make. Hope you all this piece of my childhood!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 3/3/2015: "Stand And Deliver" by Mr. Mister

I first encountered this week’s Tune for Tuesday, “Stand And Deliver” by Mr. Mister, in a movie by the same name, and it’s definitely a film I recommend seeing if you haven’t already. But to my pleasant surprise, I recently managed to find a way to develop an ever deeper appreciation for the song than I already had. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy it, with or without context!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 2/24/2014: "HEADHUNT" by OKAMOTO'S

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "HEADHUNT" by OKAMOTO'S, is the amazing opening for the second season of a series I've grown quite found of. Seriously, when it comes engrossing and fascinating stories, with characters so distinct and lovingly written that attempting to pick a favorite is far more trouble than it's worth, and that tend to be accompanied by quite enjoyable soundtracks, I have to give major props to the author of Durarara!! and Baccano!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 2/17/2015: "Change The World" by Eric Clapton

For this week’s Tune for Tuesday, I’m going with a song that I have quite the soft spot for, “Change The World” by Eric Clapton. In addition, it also has a specific lyric that I absolutely adore and would not have been surprised to hear people sharing with one another this past Saturday. Any guesses? The only hint I’m giving is that, for a while, I actually thought it was the title of the song, but later learned that it was not.

Also, I’m going to have to put my wrap up post about Outlaw Star Month on hold, though for how long I am not sure. It could be another day, 2 months, 3 weeks, or anything. Right now, I’m just don’t know when I’ll get the chance.

A Month of Outlaw Star: Fan Work Spotlight #18!

http://shads-pics.deviantart.com/art/A-Sweet-Surprise-212341580

"A Sweet Surprise" by Shads-Pics

For the last day of Outlaw Star Month, I present to everyone a piece of fan art not unlike the first one I showcased at the start of the month. However, considering a certain holiday that takes place tomorrow, I felt it was fitting to share another tribute of my favorite pairing of all time. This picture in particular is also special to me personally, for not only was it originally inspired by one of my pieces of Outlaw Star fan fiction, one I happen to take great pride in, but it was a surprise gift made by the same individual who happened to be the beta editor of said story! I can't think of a more fitting way to end off a month dedicated to my favorite show of all time!

As I've mentioned before, I also intend to do a sort of rap up following the month's conclusion, but whether or not I'll have it ready by tomorrow remains to be seen. You better get ready!

A Month of Outlaw Star: Cosplay Showcase #2!

http://melfinacosplay.deviantart.com/art/Melfina-Cosplay-79011458

With only today and tomorrow left in Outlaw Star Month, I felt like I had to showcase at least one more cosplay inspired by said anime. So naturally, I decided to go with a photo depicting a cosplay of my favorite anime girl of all time (as well as my first crush): Melfina!

But wow, to think that tomorrow, it will time for one last big push. And I know just the one for the job! Next time on Outlaw Star Month, I’ll be sharing a personal favorite! You better get ready!

A Month of Outlaw Star: Tune for Tuesday for Week of 2/10/2015

I still can't believe that this is happening. This is the last Tune for Tuesday of Outlaw Star Month. But if there's any song that qualifies for such a significant position, it this. It's the in-series English version of the first closing theme of the anime, the opening sequence for the penultimate episode, and above all, a simple and beautiful yet haunting melody that has resonated with me since I first heard it many, many years ago. You better get ready!

The gang's all here to help us make this final week amazing, and with Gilliam II having our back as well (can't have Outlaw Star Month without at least one piece of fan art including the computer of titular ship, after all), we'll definitely be able to enjoy the ride. Well, it occurred to me that, despite already halfway through week 4 of Outlaw Star Month, I had yet to post a solo shot of the main character: the one and only Gene Starwind. That could be a problem.
"No kidding! I'm the star of the show!"
Sorry, Gene!

It's hard to believe that it's already the fourth week of Outlaw Star Month. So for today, I'm presenting a very creative type of fan work! This reminds me so much of when, just using the television as reference and whatever LEGOs I had available, I made a replica of the Liger Zero as well as its alternate armors. Too bad it didn't occur to me to take a picture of it back then.

For today's tribute as part of the ongoing month of Outlaw Star, I bring to you a piece of fan art featuring the strong, fierce, proud, and quick to anger but clownish member of the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire: Aisha Clan-Clan!
Admittedly, I was trying to decide between this picture and a certain demotivational poster that I found quite ironic, but the reason why is something I've decided to save for my large wrap-up post once Outlaw Star Month ends.

A Month of Outlaw Star: Cosplay Showcase #1!

http://hikari-no-kurai.deviantart.com/art/MacDougall-Brothers-Cosplay-457359690

The third week of Outlaw Star month has now officially begun! This time around, I've decided to share a photo of a cosplay photo of two specific characters who are arguably the main antagonists of the series and definitely the most recurring ones: the MacDougall Brothers!
There was actually something more I want to say, but I've decided to save it and various other thoughts of mine for after Outlaw Star Month concludes in what will likely be quite a large, lengthy post. You better get ready!

For today's Outlaw Star Month tribute, I present to you fan art of the Kei Pirate foot soldiers. Now that I think about it, there sadly, isn't a whole lot of fan art for these guys. But that part of the reason I picked this piece: bringing attention to those in need of more love!

A Month of Outlaw Star: Fan Work Spotlight #3!

As I've mentioned multiple times, today is a very special day. 14 years (and about 4 hours) ago, when I was 7 years old, I myself and who knows how many other people first saw this wonderful show premiere on American television on what is without a doubt the most influential television programming block to date: Toonami. And having done a research assignment on Toonami and the concept of programming blocks, I feel more than qualified to make that claim. So I decided to celebrate this special occasion with a specific type of fan work that I myself have absolutely no experience with, but immense respect for: the AMV!
While admittedly not the most well made AMV out there, it has several points in its favor. The clips are in decent quality, there is use of more than the utmost basic editing techniques, it features an actual song that is used in the series and even a scene from the original pilot , and above it, upon watching this video, I felt the same sort of excitement as when I first Outlaw World, the very first episode, all those years ago.

Another Outlaw Star themed Tune for Tuesday! This time, it's one of my favorite tracks in the entire series: "Desire" by Kow Otani! It's hard to explain why exactly, but...I just love this song! Always have, and always will!

A Month of Outlaw Star: Fan Work Spotlight #1!

http://inuyatta.deviantart.com/art/Outlaw-Star-Jim-and-Hanmyo-2657618

Last week, I mentioned I had an Outlaw Star related surprise in store for everyone starting today. Well, time to reveal and explain. For 5 weeks, I plan on spending, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays sharing some of my favorite Outlaw Star based fan produced works, primarily fan art, with everyone. Why not Tuesdays? Well, as I said in my last post, that's because I'll be sharing Outlaw Star based Tune for Tuesdays, so that day of the week is already covered. As for why I won't be doing weekends, and why I'm starting this week and not last week, well, Outlaw Star first premiered on American televisions on January 15, 2001, which is a week from this Thursday. And while it's true that it first aired in Japan on January 8, 1998 (which was last Thursday), I figured I'd go with start on the week that was the anniversary of when I first discovered Outlaw Star. And lastly, the 5 week thing is because each week, Toonami would air 5 episodes of Outlaw Star, and after 5 weeks, they'd start again from the top. So I keeping up with that pattern. And who knows? Maybe by the end of this "month" of Outlaw Star, I'll have at least one post ready and posted at the exact same time it aired on TV (thank you Toonami wikia for keeping track of those details along with many other things), but no promises. Speaking of which, looks like I'll have to pick out something REALLY special for Thursday, huh?

As for today's Fan Work Spotlight, I've picked a piece of art of what is my favorite pairing of all time by Inuyatta, who can be found on deviantART and fanfiction.net. Not only do I like her fan art, but her stories, especially one in particular, have been a major source of inspiration for me. But I digress. Also, before I go, I have two last pieces of business to address. First, because this is a pairing that holds a dear place in my heart, it's admittedly going to be very hard to limit the number of times I pay tribute to this pairing ain't going to be easy, and for those who aren't crazy about it, I apologize in advance. I completely understand not being crazy about particular pairings, but everyone's got their own opinions, and not everyone's going to see eye to eye on who belongs with who. So at the very least, I can promise I won't just upload shipping fan art the whole month. Second, with regards to the works themselves, while I don't have every piece of fan work picked out ahead of time, like with most of my Tunes for Tuesdays, I'll be trying to avoid picking works made by the same person, and I'm afraid I won't be taking requests or suggestions. I apologize, but that is how it's going to be, I'm afraid.

Anyway, I'll see you all again next time! You better get ready!

A Month of Outlaw Star: Tune for Tuesday for Week of 1/6/2015

For the past year or so of with Tune for Tuesday, I made a little challenge for myself: to avoid doing two or more songs by the same artist/group, or that were used as part of the same movie, show, or game. But I'm making an exception for this month, for it is the fourteenth anniversary of when I first saw what would become my favorite show of all time, back when I was seven years old, and the seventeenth anniversary of when it first debuted on Japanese television. That's right, folks. In January of 2001, three years after it first aired in Japan, Outlaw Star first premiered on Toonami in the United States. So not only am I planning on dedicating this whole month to that marvelous anime, starting next week, I have another Outlaw Star related surprise in mind.

Seeing as how this how I'm starting off Outlaw Star Month (or OS Month), I figure what better place to start then the very first soundtrack to be used in the entire show! So come on, everyone! You better get ready!
