Tune for Tuesday for Week of 12/26/2017: "7PM" from Animal Crossing

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "7PM" from Animal Crossing, is the last one for 2017. And I figured, after such a stressful, crazy year; what more reason do I need to share a relaxing, laid-back song from my past? But seriously, this is one game whose world I DEFINITELY wouldn't mind living in!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, “Future In My Hands” and “Room DESPAIR” from Devil May Cry, is a double-feature, with one of the two being a song I've wanted to use for quite some time. But with the fate of net neutrality hanging in the balance, I just hope I'll be able to do more of these like I have been over the last few years. And look, I know not everyone takes the time to listen to these when I do post them, regardless of how many websites I share my Tune for Tuesdays on. Heck, I don't even do it every week anymore, just when I have a song in mind and I'm feeling up to the task. Even so, I know there are some people who do enjoy these other than myself, and I want to keep entertaining them. I've tried sending messages to those with the ability to save net neutrality, but I have no idea if any of them have made a difference. I'd use my phone to call as well, but while I'm completely fine with talking to strangers in person, I'm REALLY uncomfortable communicating verbally with people I don't know over the phone, especially with the stakes as high as they are. I feel like I'd do more harm than good if I'm too panicky to get my point across. But if you don't have this stupid problem of mine, and if you enjoy my Tune for Tuesdays, PLEASE do whatever you can to help prevent the internet from going the same way as television, where the only options available are whatever your provider dictates. As for now, I'm fighting the only way I feel like I can possibly make a positive difference at this point: raising awareness alongside my weekly song picks.

Then release the expected sales figures of Darkstalkers Resurrection as well as the realized sales that led you to claim it was a failure, and make a brand-new, non-collection Darkstalkers that's UNQUESTIONABLY good!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 9/19/2017

This week's Tune for Tuesday is a recurring song from a show that is VERY quickly becoming one of my favorites: Isekai Shokudou, aka Restaurant to Another World. Admittedly, I haven't found the actual name of the song itself yet (I have a theory based on this page, but no official confirmation yet), but this song I feel embodies so much of what I love about this show. A heartwarming atmosphere, where the stress of the day just melts away with every bite and sip. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do! Let's dig in!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis, is one I've been meaning to share since I saw The Million Dollar Quartet at the Paper Mill Playhouse last month. And let me tell you, it was AMAZING! Does anyone know which (if any, 'cause I've yet to hear any songs from Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, or Elvis Presley on New York Classic Rock) radio station I can hear pieces by these fantastic artists on while going to and from work? Regardless, this song is a classic (I've even seen it referenced in Mega Man Starforce 2, as well as Blue Suede Shoes in Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney), and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 4/25/2017: "Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There" from Persona 5

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There" from Persona 5, is the opening theme to a game I've been super-stoked to play for a long time, and finally started this past weekend. And after months of listening to the soundtrack, I have to say that I'm quite enjoying it, even though I'm REALLY not that far into it. Also, both the song's message and just the theme of the game is something I find very therapeutic given current events.

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Leyline Rhymes" by Richie Branson, is an incredible tribute to my favorite show, one that truly captures how much I love Outlaw Star. Really hope to see it back on the airwaves at some point, but Funimation is sure taking their sweet time releasing the Blu-Ray...Ah well. Guess my DVDs and the internet will have to suffice for now.
