Tune for Tuesday for Week of 12/6/2016: "Feliz Navidad" by José Feliciano

This week's Tune for Tuesday, “Feliz Navidad” by José Feliciano, is one that often gets played on the airwaves around this time of year, and for good reason in my opinion. One can enjoy the holiday season and share that joy with others, no matter where you come from or what you personally celebrate, if anything at all. That's what I take away from this, at any rate.

Tune for Tuesday for Week of 11/8/2016: "Divide" from RWBY

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Divide" from RWBY, is one I've had picked out for a while now, specifically for today. I wish I could pick a more optimistic song, for that's usually a trait I pride myself on. However, I feel as though that regardless of how things play out today, blood is going to be spilled on US soil. That is something that I've been certain of since my nightmare last year, but even so, I pray I end up completely wrong.

This week’s Tune for Tuesday, “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi, was selected for a variety of reasons. First of all, it’s an awesome song. Second, I identify a great deal with its message. Third, I have fond memories of listening to it growing up and when someone chose it for their own Tune for Tuesday assignment in my high school Sociology class, back before I started sharing my own choices on social media almost every week just for the heck of it. Fourth, for some reason I haven’t quite figured out, I’ve been hearing Bon Jovi mentioned on the radio a LOT today, along with a bunch of songs by them. Well, them and Lady Gaga, but personally, I prefer Bon Jovi.
